Ooops.. It seems that my self sign certificate has been expired 18.3.2009. I'll try to sign all SIS packages again with new certificate very soon... I hope it will not ruin update over existing installation (probably it does).

All About Symbian has made a list of "Top 10 Freeware for the Samsung S60 phones". BeatEd was ranked 9th. Thanks for that AAS guys!

I haven't done extensive testing on Samsung S60 devices, so I'm not really aware of all devices BeatEd runs on. If you are a BeatEd user who uses Samsung S60 device, please comment to this message and attach information about your device model and if there is any compatibility issues on that model.

The previous version v1.20.00 had some issues with UI performance on older 220MHz devices, such as E65 and E61. If you are experiencing any slow downs, please update to this new version v1.20.02. Otherwise you can keep using the previous build, there are no other changes in this.

Four new sample kits have been just added to the download page:
Clapper Kit: 16 hand claps to build rhythmic clapping with.
Glitch Kit: Edgy, sharp, shorty, unusual but usable modern sounds.
Simmons Kit: Classic and lesser known sounds from the famous Simmons electronic drum kit.
C64 Newskool Kit: Fat Commodore 64 8580 SID sounds from the master of SID drums, Linus/Triad+Viruz.
All kits are arranged by Juha-Matti "AMJ" Hilpinen and samples for the C64 kit are provided by Linus/Triad.
